It took forever, but I finally found the perfect curtains for Serena's room and I've scoured the internet looking for something similar online, but not having much luck. I bought them 2 weeks ago from HomeGoods so they should still have them in store. They are just adorable! Can I just say though that finding the perfect curtains is hard and finding them at the right price is tricky too! Our last house had custom drapes and plantain shutters that came with the house, so I never had to worry about window dressings. Our new house pretty much needs a complete overhaul on window coverings except for a few windows. I definitely see myself going back to HomeGoods for more curtains and decor. This room isn't done yet but it's getting there!

Pretty Posh Shoppe Pretties!

A couple weeks ago I was scouring the internet trying to think of what other decor I can add into Serena's big girl room redecoration project, and I remembered that I had seen some adorable tissue paper tassels from Pretty Posh Shoppe on Etsy. 

I got in touch with the owner Danielle and we emailed about the colors I'm incorporating in Serena's room. I went with teal, metallic silver and white and the colors are perfect! Originally I had plans to stream it in the corner of her bedroom, but then changed my mind and placed it over her windows. Then I changed my mind again and put it around her vanity. I love the way it looks there and it really gives the room something fun and unique!
