Fabletics fashion show + JLBR

Two weeks ago Fabletics hosted a fit, fab, fashion show at Town Center mall. A few of the other junior league ladies and myself got to show off the latest activewear trends. There was champagne, light bites, shopping and mingling. So fun!

Prior to the show and the fitting, I had never tried Fabletics before. Let me just tell you, the clothes fit ah-mazing! I felt super comfortable in the tops and their leggings look so good. I love the high waisted options because they are definitely forgiving on the belly area after having 4 kids. I kept the white mesh midi top, but I really want the lavender leggings. Going to have to go back for those sometime. 

Now that summer is about to roll around, things get a little quieter with the league. I received word last week that I've been placed on the recruiting committee for the 2018-2019 year. I loved being on the diaper bank committee, but I'm super excited about recruiting. I talk about the league so much already, it just makes sense. Joining the league was one of the best things I could have done. I love doing my part in helping the community, the friendships I've made and working with so many talented women from all different walks of life.

Celebrating mom's fashion show!

This past Saturday the Junior League of Boca Raton had it's 2nd annual "celebrating mom's fashion show" at Lord & Taylor in Boca Raton. I got to model a couple of designer outfits along with a few other mom's and their children. It was so much fun! The girl's did great and it was a great kickoff to Mother's Day weekend. The night before I hadn't gotten much sleep (story of my life), so I was so sleepy. It showed because most of my pictures it seemed like my eyes were closed. Oh well. One of these days this baby has to sleep.

JLBR Class of 2017!

Maxi dress {Macy's}

My Junior League provisional graduation was this past Monday and it was so fun! Excited that I'm now an official active member. Our fall class put in tons of hours towards meetings, trainings, and community service. Joining the league was a great decision, and I'm grateful to have my husband's support all the times I had to be away and thankful for the friendships I've made through the league. We were supposed to wear red but my dress was more like coral. Oh well. It's ok to be different! A few of us got awards. I was given "groupie award". Apparently I attended the most meetings out of my class. #dedication lol.

I actually didn't have anything red I wanted to wear that day so I headed out to Macy's with the kids and found the perfect off the shoulder maxi dress on sale. Score! I just love a good deal and I didn't even have to hem it. That's a huge plus in my book.
